Bespoke Art Class
A painting class built around you — your questions, your pace, and the things you actually want to make. No fixed syllabus and no rushing: every session is shaped to where you are now and where you'd like to go.
What you'll explore:
Work hands-on with the materials at the heart of Feishan's practice — relief surfaces built up in gesso, acrylic, oil, wax and mineral pigment. You'll learn how an image gains weight when it's layered slowly by hand, how a surface can hold time and memory, and how to look at an ordinary thing — a fruit, a flower, a photograph — until it becomes something more. Less a technique to copy than a way of seeing and making, slowly.
Who it's for:
Whether you've never held a brush or you're an artist looking to deepen a material practice, sessions meet you at your level. Complete beginners find an unintimidating way in; more experienced makers get focused, technical guidance on building relief and working across mixed media.
How it works:
Sessions run one-to-one or as a small group, in the Paris studio or online, from a single afternoon to an ongoing series.] Tell me what you'd like to explore, and we'll design the class together.
Learn More About the Program
This program is a bespoke, high‑touch journey for people who wish to live with art more closely—not only as viewers, but as makers. It is a gentle framework where conversation, materials, practical knowledge, and time come together to help you unfold your own artistic language, instead of following a fixed syllabus.
-
Together with Feishan, you will move fluidly across mixed media, choosing what feels most natural to you:
Painting Drawing Collage Writing Modeling Assemblage ( fabric, fragments, objects from your daily life )
Some sessions are tactile and experimental; others are slower and conversational, unfolding over sketches, references, and emerging ideas. The focus is always on building a visual world that feels intimately connected to who you are.
-
By the end of this journey, you may have:
• A small body of work
A set of drawings, paintings, or mixed‑media pieces that feel personally meaningful—whether discreetly placed at home or kept as private talismans.
• A clearer visual language
A sense of the colours, materials, and forms that truly belong to you, and how they can return in future works.
• A personal ritual of slowing down
Simple practices—short pauses, ways of looking, small gestures—that you can return to whenever you need space to breathe and recalibrate.
Soft art‑based meditation is woven into the sessions, guiding you to meet your own colours, emotions, and inner images, and to create a quiet inner space where images can arise naturally rather than being forced.
• A new way of being with art
Not only as something you look at or collect, but as a quiet companion and tool for thinking, feeling, and remembering.
